We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Ken Cabler, a man whose kindness, joy, and spirit left an undeniable imprint on everyone who crossed his path — including all of us at AlarMax.
Ken dedicated more than three decades to this industry, beginning at ADI / Honeywell and later making an extraordinary impact at Honeywell Security Group, Wesco, and ultimately here at AlarMax. He built teams, relationships, and friendships that stretched far beyond titles. His experience shaped the industry, but his heart shaped the people in it.
What we’ll remember most is the way Ken made people feel. He had a gift for turning strangers into friends, for offering wisdom without ever making it feel heavy, and for walking into a room with a smile that made everything feel lighter. He led with generosity, sincerity, and a joy that was impossible to miss.
When Ken joined AlarMax in 2024, he brought that same spirit with him — even during the most challenging chapter of his life. Ken showed up with grace, courage, and quiet strength. He encouraged us, supported us, and quietly modeled what resilience looks like. It’s why he was awarded the “Bill Teitelbaum – Battle Tested” Founder Award — he lived every part of that name.
We are heartbroken that our time with Ken was cut short, but deeply grateful that we had the chance to know him at all. His influence will stay with us — in our culture, in our people, and in the way we hope to treat others, just as he did.
