Keri’s MS Series Proximity Readers are designed to blend aesthetics, read range performance, and small package size with an extremely thin profile into a product that is priced significantly less than competing proximity readers. The readers are for use exclusively with Keri’s access control system based on the PXL-500 Tiger Controller and can be used with the NXT-2D/-4D and MSC-2D/4D Controllers when using a Interface Module, to save cost and continue the use existing credentials when upgrading to the newer NXT controllers.

The SB-593 Satellite Expansion Board plugs into the PXL-500 to provide additional functionality at a cost far less than that of adding another controller. The SB-593 gives each PXL-500 an additional 8 general purpose inputs and 4 general purpose outputs. Two of the inputs and outputs can be configured to manage a second door, making the PXL-500 a cost effective two door controller while still providing an additional 6 inputs and 2 outputs.

Keri’s 1346AKHD Proximity Key Ring Tag provides user convenience in a small, ergonomic, and extremely durable package. The tag is equipped with a brass eyelet for attachment to a key ring that ensures the neck of the tag will not break during the life of the system. Key tags are especially convenient for building entrances where the user still has their car keys in hand.

Medium Sized, NXT Reader – The NXT-5R measures 4.18 inches high by 2.95 inches wide by .625 inches deep (10.6 cm high x 7.5 cm wide x 1.6 cm deep) and can be mounted on a US single gang electrical box or flat on a wall. Read range is up to 6” (15cm) when mounted at least one inch off metal. If the reader is mounted using a metal electrical junction box with the thickness of the wall material separating the reader from the box, read range will be reduced.
NXT Readers can be ordered as “Entrance” or “Exit” readers when used with NXT Controllers (Mercury-Powered versions), which doubles the controller’s reader capacity. For “Exit” readers, specify model numbers with an E at end of model number (i.e., NXT-3RE). They can now be configured to read certain HID 125 KHz cards and tags such as the HID ® Prox II Credentials, thus providing all of the benefits listed above and eliminating the need for an NXT-WI or NXT-RM3 Reader Interface Board.

Keri’s KPS-3 Power Supply provides an open frame power solution with an ultra compact footprint, providing your design with more space and efficiency. The Power Supply provides 12VDC @ 2.8A and has a 1.5A battery charging circuit. The supply has a perforated cover (for cooling) mounted in standard Keri enclosure (no enclosure option available). It works with the PXL-500, NXT, and NXT-MSC controllers. It supports a direct 100 VAC to 240 VAC input at 50 Hz and 60 Hz, no transformer required.

Keris NXT-K Proximity Key Ring Tag provides user convenience in a small, ergonomic, and extremely durable package. The tag is equipped with a brass eyelet for attachment to a key ring that ensures the neck of the tag will not break during the life of the system. Key tags are especially convenient for building entrances where the user still has their car keys in hand. If the system has many interior doors that are secured with a Keri access control system, users often attach the tag to a necklace for easy carrying, especially if the clothing does not have pockets.

Custom programming is available, subject to minimum order quantities and factory lead times.

The Keri Systems MS-5000BX is a smallest readers, 3.4 “long x 1.4” broad x 0.38” thick (86mm x 36mm x 10mm), and mounts to a metal window or door frame or wall. Up to 4 “ (10cm). The 4.3 “109mm long x 3.0” broad x 0.38” thick; may be installed on a single-gang electrical box or wall. Read range is up to 6” (15cm) when mounted at least one inch off metal. Read range will be decreased if the reader is placed using a metal electrical connection box. When used with a PXL-250, PXL-100, or IntelliProx, a beeper and multicolored LED indicate the reader’s status. MS-5000 MiniStar Reader is waterproof and shockproof.

The MT-10X Multi Technology Proximity Card allows the user to combine several identification technologies in a single credit card thin credential. One of the most popular features of the Multi Technology Cards is that they can accept a direct print video image, typically a photograph, a bar code, and other graphics from most industry standard dye sublimation printers, to create a custom access credential. Keri Proximity Credentials (including Cards, Tags, and Patches) can be used interchangeably on the same system without worry about ID code duplication or format matching.

The Entraguard Titanium HF-Hands Free represents a breakthrough in telephone entry by providing 250 tenant capacity with a 4-line LCD display in a small, attractive package, all at an extremely low price. The small footprint allows the Titanium to be mounted almost anywhere providing first line access control for visitors to once buildings as well as residential complexes. It is housed in a rugged stainless steel enclosure with built-in hood so that it can withstand the toughest environments. The Titanium can be programmed to have three rotating messages on display.
