Gibraltar vandal-resistant readers are designed to thrive in the most demanding access control applications. For superior durability, Gibraltar readers combine the power of Farpointe’s Pyramid Series Proximity 125-kHz proximity technology with a virtually indestructible exterior. Each Gibraltar reader is milled from a solid block of stainless steel and reinforced with a bullet-resistant Shot Blocker insert. Additionally, the reader ships standard with tamperproof screws. Installation examples may include schools, correctional facilities, housing authorities, and sites where heavy equipment is operated.

Keri’s line of RF Receivers and Transmitters, including the TM-20X, offer access and security in a small, sleek, cost-effective package. Typically attached using a key ring, the transmitters provide a convenient way to grant access to gates and parking barriers while staying safe and dry in a vehicle.
The most popular application is for gated residential communities, where residents and employees can use the transmitter buttons to access gates as they approach, or to provide convenient access for the disabled. The two-channel output provides the ability to control two gates from a single receiver.

The NXT-2D Controller is built for today’s IT environments. By using an existing TCP/IP network, controller cabling costs can be eliminated. Or, if building a new network, they can be reduced up to 50% over traditional hard-wired access systems by using inexpensive, CAT-5 cable. The NXT-2D is designed to be extremely intelligent with little reliance on network traffic for decision making, allowing it to be thrifty with any network’s valuable bandwidth. With Ethernet functionality built directly into the controller, Keri’s proprietary MAC addressing scheme allows for reliable hardware discovery and true one-button auto-configuration.

Pyramid Series Proximity® from Farpointe Data sets the electronic security benchmark for 125-kHz proximity readers, cards, and tags. Based upon proven contactless digital radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, Pyramid readers interface with a wide range of electronic access control systems by complying with the Wiegand communication protocol. They offer value-add features such as MAXSecureTM and fleaPowerTM, and can be ordered to support several proximity card and tag technologies. Additionally, Pyramid cards and tags are passive devices, eliminate maintenance by requiring no battery, and can be ordered to support several proximity reader technologies.

Keri’s NXT-6RK is the newest member of the NXT Series Proximity Reader family. The NXT-6RK may be mounted directly to standard US, single-gang, wall boxes, and is ideal for applications requiring an access credential and/or personal identification number (PIN), such as high security dual verification. It connects to an NXT Controller via the NXT-RM-3 Reader Interface Module to allow the Wiegand format keypad data to be read by the controller while at the same time reading standard NXT formatted cards.
The single-piece NXT-6RK delivers non-contact read ranges up to 6 inches (152 mm), and is powered by the controller. Physical size is a compact 4.6 × 3 × 0.70 inches (117 × 77 × 18 mm). Mounting is simplified with horizontal and vertical mounting slots instead of holes which allows the reader to be conveniently adjusted and leveled. The NXT-4X4 Input/Output Expansion Module provides functionality to any doors.NET access control system by adding auxiliary I/O that can be used for additional access control functionality, monitoring non-reader doors or other devices, and creating powerful action sequences by linking input triggers to outputs. The module can be connected anywhere along the RS-485 trunk, most commonly at the controller or near a reader. One module can be added per trunk, allowing up to an extra 8 inputs and 8 outputs on an NXT-2D Controller and an extra 16 inputs and outputs on an NXT-4D controller.

Each card contains its own, unique ID code and is protected with 128-Encryption for maximum security in access control environments. The NXT-I supports photo ID printing and is about the size of a credit card, which fits easily into a wallet or purse.

Keri’s NXT-AP Adhesive Proximity Patch offers all the flexibility of other Keri proximity credentials, but in a form factor that allows it to be attached to virtually anything. As with any Keri proximity device, it will read through most non-metallic surfaces. Attach it to a wallet or cell phone to create a personalized proximity credential, or use it with an existing photo ID card to create new security credentials without incurring the expense of re-badging. You can also place it on high value inventory items to uniquely identify those items to your security system.
