Pyramid Series Proximity® from Farpointe Data sets the electronic security benchmark for 125-kHz proximity readers, cards, and tags. Based upon proven contactless digital radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, Pyramid readers interface with a wide range of electronic access control systems by complying with the Wiegand communication protocol. They offer value-add features such as MAXSecureTM and fleaPowerTM, and can be ordered to support several proximity card and tag technologies. Additionally, Pyramid cards and tags are passive devices, eliminate maintenance by requiring no battery, and can be ordered to support several proximity reader technologies.

Each card contains its own, unique ID code and is protected with 128-Encryption for maximum security in access control environments. The NXT-I supports photo ID printing and is about the size of a credit card, which fits easily into a wallet or purse.

Keri’s NXT-6RK is the newest member of the NXT Series Proximity Reader family. The NXT-6RK may be mounted directly to standard US, single-gang, wall boxes, and is ideal for applications requiring an access credential and/or personal identification number (PIN), such as high security dual verification. It connects to an NXT Controller via the NXT-RM-3 Reader Interface Module to allow the Wiegand format keypad data to be read by the controller while at the same time reading standard NXT formatted cards.
The single-piece NXT-6RK delivers non-contact read ranges up to 6 inches (152 mm), and is powered by the controller. Physical size is a compact 4.6 × 3 × 0.70 inches (117 × 77 × 18 mm). Mounting is simplified with horizontal and vertical mounting slots instead of holes which allows the reader to be conveniently adjusted and leveled. Keri’s NXT-AP Adhesive Proximity Patch offers all the flexibility of other Keri proximity credentials, but in a form factor that allows it to be attached to virtually anything. As with any Keri proximity device, it will read through most non-metallic surfaces. Attach it to a wallet or cell phone to create a personalized proximity credential, or use it with an existing photo ID card to create new security credentials without incurring the expense of re-badging. You can also place it on high value inventory items to uniquely identify those items to your security system.

The AP-10X Adhesive Proximity Patch from Keri offers all the flexibility of other Keri proximity credentials, but in a form factor that allows it to be attached to virtually anything. As with any Keri proximity device, it will read through most non metallic surfaces.
Common AP-10X Applications:
Attach it to a wallet or cell phone to create a personalized proximity credential
Use it with an existing photo ID card to create new security credentials without incurring the expense of rebadging
Place it on high value inventory items to uniquely identify these items to your security system
Adhere it to older swipe technology device cards (such as Wiegand and Mag Stripe) to provide a low cost proximity upgrade (the proximity patch can interfere with other RFID technologies)

Medium Sized, NXT Reader – The NXT-5R measures 4.18 inches high by 2.95 inches wide by .625 inches deep (10.6 cm high x 7.5 cm wide x 1.6 cm deep) and can be mounted on a US single gang electrical box or flat on a wall. Read range is up to 6? (15cm) when mounted at least one inch off metal. If the reader is mounted using a metal electrical junction box with the thickness of the wall material separating the reader from the box, read range will be reduced.
