Shop Keypads - Readers

The Keri Systems MS-5000BX is a smallest readers, 3.4 “long x 1.4” broad x 0.38” thick (86mm x 36mm x 10mm), and mounts to a metal window or door frame or wall. Up to 4 “ (10cm). The 4.3 “109mm long x 3.0” broad x 0.38” thick; may be installed on a single-gang electrical box or wall. Read range is up to 6” (15cm) when mounted at least one inch off metal. Read range will be decreased if the reader is placed using a metal electrical connection box. When used with a PXL-250, PXL-100, or IntelliProx, a beeper and multicolored LED indicate the reader’s status. MS-5000 MiniStar Reader is waterproof and shockproof.

Providing performance and reliability, HID’s attractive, unobtrusive ThinLine II proximity card reader is housed in a two-piece, weatherproof secure potted enclosure.

P series readers are for use with Switch2 and Net2 systems. The reader is supplied with a black fascia only. Replacement fascias are available in black and white/grey from the Paxton Portal.
We have added Genuine HID Technology to the majority of our Paxton readers, they can now read HID 125kHz Proximity tokens, when licensed with an activation card. If required these readers can still be enabled to have Wiegand output, via a separate activation card.
Installation – The reader is wired as shown on the control unit label. Be sure to avoid mounting on metal surfaces or near other proximity readers as this will affect the read range. The cable exits centrally from the back of the reader making drilling and mounting very accurate.
Operation – A token is read by holding it within close proximity of the reader. Once a token has been read the control unit looks up the access permissions of that user. Access is then granted or denied as appropriate. If access is granted the green LED flashes.

P series readers are for use with Switch2 and Net2 systems. The P series readers are supplied with black fascias only. Replacement fascias are available in black and white/gray, and are free of charge to Paxton registered installers from the Extranet. P series readers are available in four sizes.

The e-style keypad uses hardened backlit keys to ensure long-term durability and high-quality performance. e style keypads are designed for both indoor and outdoor flush mount applications. The electronics for each e keypad are conformally coated in the manufacturing process in order to provide this level of application flexibility.

The 212iLW keypad has chrome-plated metal trim with hardened backlit keys. There are LEDs shown through the faceplate to indicate operation status and provide the user confirmation of the PIN number entry. Designed for indoor or outdoor use, the iLW keypad mounts to any standard single-gang electrical back box and provides superior durability.

Programmable via fingertip, the SK-1323-SPQ Stand-Alone Weatherproof Keypad with Built-In Proximity Reader from Seco-Larm is a weatherproof, rugged aluminum construction enclosure, which protects against the harshest weather. The metal housing is also specially designed to sustain the punishment and abuse of high traffic. It can be surface mounted with its aluminum housing or flush mounting on the wall.??It accommodates a single gang box and most keypad styles. The keypad is designed for basic access or code control for up to 1010 individual users from output one (1) and 10 users from output two (2). All features can be programmed directly from the keypad. There is no need for an external programmer.
