The PRS-TDM is a 2-door expansion module that expands the capacity of a PRS-2DR Starter by 2 doors. Up to 3 PRS-TDM modules can be added to a PRS-2DR Starter for a max capacity of 8 doors

Board only with screws. Communicating via RS485, this controller can be connected via interconnect strips or standard RS485 wiring. Can be located up to 2000’ from the master controller.

Advanced hardware functions include built-in ADA opener sequencing, Key-switch level alarm integration, mantrap/interlock support, Anti-passback, Triple swipe actions, user-specific actions, and local/remote lockdown.

FEATURES:

POWER

12 VDC power provided from the PRS-Master controller via interconnect strips. Can be externally powered.
COMMUNICATION
RS-485 communication between PRS-Master and TDM expansion panels.
LOCK POWER
1 WET 12VDC 500mA relay per door, eliminating the need for external lock power supplies. Intelligent power control to reduce power consumption and reduce strain on solenoid-based locksets.
OUTPUTS
2 Dry contact solid state relays per door. SSR relays can switch up to 24VDC 1A. Outputs can be assigned to any door. Allowing you to reassign relays for complex door setups.
INPUTS
3 Dry contact inputs per door, fully configurable. Inputs can be assigned to any door, allowing you to reassign inputs for complex door setups.
EASE OF INSTALLATION
Easy to set addressing via dip switches. Clear labelling of inputs/outputs/reader ports. LED indicators for input/output/reader/connectivity.
COMMUNICATION
1x RJ-45 10/100M bps Ethernet Port, PoE Standard (15.4W), 100m (328) Max Distance. Wire Spec 100m (328’) Max Distance, Cat5 or better.
2 x RS485 Used to communicate to PRS_TDM and/or OSDP readers (use interconnect strips, included) Wire spec 600m (2000’) Max Distance. 2 conductors stranded, twisted pair 22 AWG, shielded.
POWER SUPPLY
1× 12-13.8VDC input 1A-5.5A depending on attached devices/locks. Power requirements guide available. Generic 12VDC 5A power supply available (PRS-Power). 1x battery backup terminal. 12VDC 7AH recommended.
