The PRETROFIT RF Translator is essential for integrating existing security sensors with newer systems, supporting a conversion from unencrypted 345MHz to encrypted 433MHz signals. It features a 24Hr. backup battery for continuous operation during power outages and can handle up to 64 wireless and 2 hardwired sensors. The location of the Translator can have a significant effect on range. In open/unobstructed situations, the transmitter range may be greater. In adverse wireless conditions, you may encounter a decrease in range. The RX range is dependent on sensor capabilities.
