The Evolution by Vanco EVEX2004 HDMI Extender over Single Coax with Bi-directional IR extends high definition video and audio signals and IR, at a distance of up to 394ft/120m over RG6 coaxial cable, and 164ft/50m over RG59 coaxial cable. Features Bi-directional IR, which allows for control of the source or display. Also features EDID management, which allows and encourages source and display “handshake” for seamless integration. With just a single coaxial cable, high definition sources with HDMI outputs can be connected to high definition displays with HDMI inputs over long distances. DTS-HD or Dolby TrueHD audio, and HDCP is supported and compatible with the EVEX2004. Compact design with mounting ears included, for an easy and flexible installation. A great solution for applications which already have an existing coaxial cable in place.
